How to Play
The image below shows how investors choose their risk preference.
The slider can be moved to any position between 1 and 5. This will help select which entrepreneurs the investor will see first in the SpeedPitch rounds.
For example selecting 1 (Protecting capital) will give priority to low risk ventures.
Once an investor has made a selection, this cannot be changed.
Hint
1. You may need to adapt your negotiating/investment strategy depending on whether you are focusing on high risk or low risk ventures.
2. Negotiating a high level of equity from an entrepreneur is fine - but will that leave the entrepreneur with enough equity to attract other investors?
3. Risk may be managed by spreading investments across a number of different entrepreneurs, but will that mean none of them will reach their target?
